LOCAL LIBRARY INITIATIVE

“No one has ever become poor by giving" – Anne Frank.

In our country there is a huge number of students who are really unable to buy expensive books and sometimes they have to leave studying for this reason. Hence we are losing many talented students too.

Proyas is trying to initiate a library where poor and needy students will get the chance to read in free of cost. We need your help to execute this initiative properly. It is a request to everyone to come forward and donate your old books to help the needy. Education is the basic right for everyone. Your one step can allow a poor child to get that right.

Also ask around! Your neighbour and relative may have books lying unused. Each book, big or small, cheap, or costly, counts.

Please come forward and be a part of this noble initiative. Thank you in advance.

Poster contains the conditions and information about donation.

This is the database of PROYAAS Local Library Initiative where you can find details of all the books stored at different centers (clubs/societies/organizations). We have collected a huge number of books from gracious donors from all around West Bengal. Please contact us in case you need books stored within our facility or want to join hands with us to develop local library center within your area.
